Monday April 17th, 2023 Wright 1600-2000 4 hours
1600: In service. Detail called into Hudson line. There were (5) missed texts, (1)
voicemail, and no emails.
Texts: (3) - spam, (1) out of town check request (added to log), (1) request to
move packages (packages were moved by the residents contact)
Call: Voicemail regarding an abandoned vehicle & street light out; Vehicle is
GOA and called 828-8000 to report street light out. Advised the grateful
reportee.
Delivered a new sticker to residence per email request.
1700: Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
1800: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, and BCS. Flagged down
by a motorist advising there was a speeding, older, White Chevy pick-up (possibly a paint contractor, but no company name on it). Said vehicle was probably at 17th / Cordova by the time he flagged me down; will keep an eye out for it.
1915-1950: Disabled vehicle near Davie/US1; stood-by for tow truck.

2015 - initiated traffic stop on a blacked out vehicle at 11CT/Cordova. The vehicle
(unknown tag) Red SUV fled westbound on Davie Blvd (case #34-2304-066656). The vehicle was Boloed. I was later informed that burglary happened earlier in the area and the 3 juveniles suspects left in Red SUV (case # 34-2304-066414).
2030- last run through the neighborhood. 10-7

1900: Passerby requested well-being check of black-female who seemed distraught;
passerby followed female from courthouse area into Rio vista but, lost her around Davie / SE 9th Ave; patrol units and I circulated the area but, were unable to locate. Case # 34-2304-067384
1930: Flagged down in 1100 blk of SE 6th Ter. Construction worker was requesting
assistance with contacting his boss who left without him; boss showed up a few
mins later.

Missed phone calls from two different numbers, one left a voicemail reference a neighbor issue. Did not call back numbers but sent texts in order to minimize disturbing callers due to time of night. No response at this time

2330 officer requested back up at Phat Boy Sushi, 701 S Federal Hwy for a disorderly subject. No available Officers nearby so I assisted the Officer as it was on the outer edge of the Rio Vista neighborhood. Ensured that the subject got an Uber and did not wander into the Rio Vista neighborhood. Case 34-2303-057982. Went back to Rio Vista patrol

1600: In service. There were no new missed calls or emails but, two texts (at 1525 hrs)
reference an alarm. Alarm came into PD at 1530 23-035271; patrol responded and advised that all was secure. Officer advised there was a Burglary/Auto Theft in December (22-228437) overnight from 0100-0800 of the residents vehicle. I moved a package to the rear of the residence and had a dialogue via text with the resident. Resident advised they were unable to get a hold of anyone to request out of town checks; advised to text the Rio phone and/or email

but, two missed phone calls from today and two missed calls (voicemails from 2/4)
- requesting a paper bill for Rio membership instead of emails or text messages; will forward request to Rio admin.
- No voicemail left - text back asking if need assistance
- 2Voicemail pictures and videos of a suspicious person. Via text, reportee stated he did not need assistance.
- Voicemail reference finding an air tag on her vehicle; texted asking if she needed assistance.
Reviewed activity log and began roving patrol.
1700: Assisted briefly with crash with injuries at 13 ST / S Federal.
1730: Flagged down about loose dog, that had got out from
backyard; got reportee’s info and began the search.
1740: Received frantic phone call of a loose white dog; turned out it
was from above. She was running around at full speed but, eventually was
able to successfully reunite her with the happy owner.
1800: Roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, and BCS.
1900: Still roving, non-stop.
2009: Resident from air tag responded - made contact in person and
completed report 23-025069; possible auto theft tracking- Report will be forwarded up to CID for further follow-up.
