In service. I called in the detail. No missed calls, texts or new voicemails started
patrols. I checked along all isles did out of town checks and checked through LYC
and Hemingway.
0600 I parked on pomace walked area a bit and checked away homes.
0700-patrolled streets again flagged down ref adding an away check added to log
continues patrols - missed call had message ref alarm at home on SE 7th ST
property checked.

In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. There are no new emails, missed calls,
or text messages. Updated out of town log and began roving patrol.
1300: Roving patrol of isles, mainland, parks, LYC, BCS, and Hemingway.
1400: Very hot out, clouds moving in. Still roving
1500: Still roving, no issues.

for an out-of-town check - added to log. Began out of town checks.
1615: Package moved to rear and discovered the rear door unlocked at home on Ponce;
the owner was apprised.
1700: Doing drive-by checks due to severe rain and thunder/lightning.
Local flooding starting, out of service.

In service. I called in the detail. No missed calls, texts or new voicemails started
patrols. I checked along 7th isle - I parked on Ponce and walked area - did out of
town checks and checked through LYC walked property and then checked
through Hemingway
0630- I patrolled mainland and finished all vacations checks. I spoke with a few residents
out walking -
0730- Continued patrols checked along Fed. No issues

In service, detail phoned into Hudson line. No calls, texts, or emails. Reviewed
activity log and began roving patrol.
0955: Made contact with W/F in the 1100 blk of NRV who a resident had emailed about
possibly needing a ‘well-being check.’ The female advised she was “fine” and
refused any assistance / social services.
1100: Roving patrol of isles, mainland, parks, LYC, BCS, and Fed Hwy.
1200-1400: Construction crew struck water line at SE 9th ST / Cordova Rd. City works and
environmental crimes detective responded. PIO and Rio HOA notified of
temporary road closure during repair. Incident report # 23-153890
Completed a few quick laps of neighborhood.

to concerns of speeders.

1400: Non-stop roving patrol of aisles, mainland, parks, LYC, and BCS.
1500: Still roving - frequenting 10th ST isle for speeders.
1600: Still roving, no issues - muggy.
1700: Still roving.

patrol responded with no issues; home secure, starting patrol.

In service, called in Hudson line, no calls, starting patrol
0823- received call reference Black GMC driving down 10 St. isle, repeat complaint.
I responded and found the vehicle is a crew working on a yacht at a home on
SE 10 St. I met with reporter and explained my findings.
0940- completed a roving patrol and checks on the isles

Saturday August 5, 2023 Esparza
In service no new calls, texts, or emails. began patrol of isles, Hemingway and
mainland
2355- Drove north on NE 9th Ave approaching South Rio Vista Blvd when I observed a
white sedan parked on S Rio Vista. Observed subject running from driveway of
home on S Rio Vista Blvd and into vehicle upon seeing me. White sedan passed me
south on S Rio Vista Blvd and then west on SE 12th St and then fled north bound on N
Federal under the tunnel; unable to obtain a tag. Went back and made contact
with resident who advised a burglary to a vehicle did occur in her driveway; no apparent
damage so vehicle was likely left unlocked. Night shift officer came and completed
header for the report. See 2308-157615 for further details.
