'A GOLDEN HOMECOMING' - AT ISHOF WITH U.S. OLYMPIC CHAMPION DIVER GREG LOUGANIS
On Sunday evening, September 13th, 2009, a fundraiser for four local not-for-profit organizations will remember and celebrate the legacies of two cultural icons, Greg Louganis and Ryan White. Please join the International Swimming Hall of Fame, in Fort Lauderdale, for an evening that will see Greg reunited with his 1988 Gold Medal that he had given to the young boy who had been diagnosed with AIDS.
As an attendee, you will also be invited to the "invitation only" public opening of the exhibit, on Monday, September 14th, featuring Master of Ceremonies Craig Stevens, Greg Louganis, Jeanne White-Grinder, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Broward, County Vice-Mayor Ken Keechl and Ft. Lauderdale Mayor, Jack Seiler, along with a host of other US Olympic Swimming Medal Winners and other celebrities.
For more information on obtaining tickets for this incredible event, please see the International Swimming Hall of Fame at www.ishof.org and click on the 'Golden Homecoming' link there for complete info on this heart-warming story. |
