'GATOR GATHERING' - MEET U of F HEAD COACH URBAN MEYER
May 19th at War Memorial Auditorium 5PM-8PM
Meet and greet U of F Head Football Coach Urban Meyer at the 'Gator Gathering' dinner. The event will feature an address from the coach as well as Q & A and autograph sessions. Due to anticipated demand, only PRE-PAID attendees will be guaranteed dinner. At-the-door dinners will be provided as long as supplies last. Tickets by mail in advance (Deadline May 15): $30/adult (12 & older) for current UF Alumni Association Members and Gator Boosters; $35/adult for non-members; $20/child (3-11). CELESTE HOLM AT CINEMA PARADISO!
To receive Lifetime Achievement Award Sat. May 9th 6PM
 The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival honors Academy Award Winner Celeste Holm with a special 'Lifetime Achievement Award' on Saturday, May 9th, 6PM.
The evening will start off with a reception in the Paradise Patio Courtyard featuring hors d'oeurves and complimentary glass of wine. A film montage will pay tribute to her remarkable career, followed by a rare screening of 'All About Eve' on one of the ONLY REMAINING 35mm prints of the 1950s classic. Following the movie, biographer Foster Hirch will host an intimate Q & A with Ms. Holm...and, accompanied by Broadway Musical Director and Pianist David Lewis, Celeste will perform a few of her best-loved Broadway songs. Tickets are $15/General Public; $10/FLIFF members. Support FLIFF and our favorite local cinema and theatre...Cinema Paradiso!

 FDOT representatives presented the latest plans for the resurfacing of our South Federal Highway area from Kinney Tunnel south to 17th Street at the RVCA General membership meeting on April 20.
