Dear RVCA members, neighbors and friends,
Our City Commission 'Runoff' Elections are next Tuesday, March 10th...and our own District IV Commission seat race is on the ballot and the new District IV Commissioner will be elected on Tuesday! The candidates for District IV are Romney Rogers and Coleman Prewitt, the top two vote-getters in last month's primary elections.
In all, three of the five City Commission seats will be filled after Tuesday's election...that's 60% of the decision-makers who will guide this city forward...so it's extremely important that YOU get out and vote...and tell your friends to get out to vote, as well, even if they're not in our neighborhood! If you don't vote, you don't get a voice...and in these challenging times we're facing today, your vote is more important than ever. And by now, we should ALL know that EVERY SINGLE VOTE DOES COUNT!
So get out there on Tuesday and VOTE! We'll see you there!

Camp Out & 'Carti Gras!' Another Great Neighborhood Success!
The hot dogs were grilling, the Golf Carts were decorated and the campfire was roaring...and
it was another great weekend event in Rio Vista! The festivities kicked
off with the 3rd Annual 'Carti Gras!' golf cart parade around the
neighborhood and continued on through Saturday evening into the wee
hours with a campout in Virginia Young Park. Where else in this city
can you find an event like this? Nowhere!...Click here for the photo gallery from the event!
