RECYCLE YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE!
Reduce. Reuse. Rejoice! The City of Fort Lauderdale makes holiday tree disposal easy for curbside residents. Instead of
using drop-off locations, residents can recycle their trees in one of
two ways:
- Place them inside their green yard waste cart...or
- Leave them out for bulk trash pickup. Note: If trees are placed in the yard waste cart, they must be cut into
pieces so the lid can close completely. To reduce collection and
disposal costs, the City strongly encourages residents to dispose of
trees using the yard waste cart. Click here for more info...________________________________________________________________________

EVER THINK OF CHRONICLING YOUR LIFE'S STORIES? MAYBE IT'S TIME...
Have you ever wished you'd written down your life's stories and experiences? Do you know someone whose life story is begging to be told? Or family history needing to be put in writing to pass along to future generations? If so, there is someone who can help you bring those stories to the
printed page (& digital screen). Veteran editor and journalist Jim Dow, of Jim Dow Agency, a longtime professional colleague of RIO VISTA! publisher George Mihaiu, is now specializing in helping to produce
limited edition biographical stories, personalized articles and keepsake family histories. Jim conducts in-depth
interviews with individuals and then produces audio and biographically-styled written accounts of
life stories for family and friends. For more information on how the process works, call him at
954-443-3746...or email him at jdow@jimdowagency.com. ________________________________________________________________________
