25th ANNUAL FORT LAUDERDALE CHRISTMAS PAGEANT ...Nov. 28, 2008 - Dec. 14th, 2009
First Baptist Church's Light and Sound Holiday Spectacular! Twenty-five
years ago, the Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant premiered for the very
first time at a nearby civic auditorium. On our 10th Anniversary, we
celebrated the opening of our current Sanctuary, custom-designed for
presentation of the Christmas story. For our 20th Anniversary, we
introduced a new grand Austrian Curtain and new settings for both acts
of our program designed especially for this production by George and
Goldberg. The stage was designed by Broadway designers Peter Wolf
("Peter Pan") and Bill Eckart ("Cinderella"). As we anticipate the
Silver Anniversary of the Christmas Pageant, we have even greater
surprises being planned. For tickets and performance info, call
