Thanks to the 320+ Rio Vista homeowners and residents who participated in our
'Protect Rio Vista!' security patrol, the first year has been a huge success for
the entire neighborhood.
For those of you who particpated in our 2008
program, you already know the benefits and have seen the actual value of being a
member in the 'Protect Rio Vista!' program...and we ask for your continuing
support by renewing now for our 2009 program.
For those of you who have
not yet joined the program we urge you to consider joining us for 2009, as only
through greater participation can we offer more patrol hours and ultimately a
safer community.

making your trash heavier and heavier? Well, do your environment and your
neighborhood a favor and recycle them! Call the City of Fort
Lauderdale Sanitation Division at 954.828.800 and request a GREEN recycle bin. If you don't already recycle your
plastic and glass, please request a BLUE bin as

LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL & SOFTBALL SEASON JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Hey Kids! (and parents!!)...Little League Baseball & Softball Season is right around the corner. Boys and Girls baseball from ages 5-16 and Girls Softball ages 8 and up. Registration for the 20-game season begins January 1, 2009 at beautiful Floyd Hull Stadium, located at 800 SW 28th Street, Fort Lauderdale...just five minutes from Rio Vista, right behind the Armory off S.R. 84.
