ORCHIDS & ONIONS!

Orchids image 'ORCHIDS!!!'  to everyone on BOTH sides of the 'Wind Turbine' issue, who spoke up at the Board of Adjustment meeting.  Participants were civilized, respectful of each other and utilized the process the way it should be done to resolve these kinds of issues where reasonable people can disagree.

'ORCHIDS!!!' to the RVCA Work Team volunteers who will be cleaning up the area around the 7th St./Federal Hwy. entrance to Rio Vista on Saturday morning, July 12 from 9:30am-Noon...and a special 'ORCHID' to organizer John Cavanaugh for his exceptional efforts in making this happen!

Onionsimage'ONIONS!' to the 4th of July 'weatherman' for the rains that disrupted the barbeques and fireworks displays for so many of us...and for the computer glitches that caused the show to be shortened for all of those who braved the rains and DID show up!! We'll see what we can do about some better weather...and better technical savvy next year! :)
