| Cinema Paradiso hosts '60s Retro Beach Fest' this weekend |
| First-ever event begins tonight with 'FOR THOSE THAT THINK YOUNG' |
 The film stars James Darren, Pamela Tiffin and Fort Lauderdale's own Woody Woodbury. Wil Shriner will introduce Woody prior to the film, show some clips on his crazy career and then he will get The Key To The City presented by Commissioner Hutchinson. The film was done almost as a commercial for Pepsi, utilizing their 1964 theme (And it's Pepsi) For Those That Think Young is fun and light. The pre-film party begins Thursday night (tonight!) at 6pm...introductions and movie follows at 7pm. Board members & Entre Nous get into all films and parties free. Help us get the word out...and come out Thursday and support Woody...a true Fort Lauderdale legend!
Here's the rest of the weekend schedule. Regular tickets are $5 per film. Groups with 10 or more will get a 50% rebate to the group (we keep $2.50 they get $2.50). Also, people can come in their bikini or jams and get in half price!

 Almost 300 Rio Vista residents now belong to the RVCA's 'Protect Rio Vista' security patrol program.
Here's a tip from our officers...the best way you can protect your car and home are to REMEMBER TO LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS! Most of the crimes we've seen in our area (and most everywhere) are 'crimes of opportunity'...eliminate the opportunities and help eliminate the crime! |
